What This Site Stores
The price form keeps the numbers you type and nothing that identifies you. Every analytics, advertising or affiliate programme running here is listed below, and only while it is switched on.
The price form
It stores the numbers and text you type, the date, and a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to filter duplicate and automated submissions. It does not store your email or your name. Submissions may be published in the aggregate tables and as short paraphrased examples, the same way every other report here is.
Analytics, advertising and affiliate links
Visit statistics. Google Analytics counts visits so we can see which pages people read and how they arrive. It sets first-party cookies whose names start with _ga. Google uses your IP address to estimate a city or region and does not store the address itself. Your browser's cookie settings block it, and so does Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Server logs
Server logs keep IP addresses for up to 30 days for security, then discard them.
